Solihull (West Midlands)
Solihull is an attractive and popular town in the West Midlands, just eight miles from Birmingham, and was once voted the best place to live in the UK.
Notable for its historic timbered architecture and home to important major industries such as Land Rover, it is one of the most affluent areas in the Midlands and home to a host of cultural, natural and sporting attractions as well as a vast range of educational facilities.
The area boasts more than 100 schools rated as outstanding, as well as numerous museums and offers entertainment and amenities suitable for all.
Attracting international concerts and shows, the Birmingham NEC is actually within Solihull as is the international airport, and the town is known for its excellent quality of life. This is celebrated annually with the town’s carnival that draws thousands of residents and visitors to the central Tudor Grange Park for funfairs, music and festivities.
